DAY 14 - What Works. . .!?

What on earth am I here for . . . ?
Love works.
Hate works.

Guilt works.
Conscience works.

Meekness works.
Anger works.

Patience works.
Impulsiveness works.

Greed works.
Generosity works.

Selfishness works.
Forgiveness also works.

And there are more . . . Yet which works better in the long run?!

- You know the answer.

However, which is easier to choose and use and gets immediate results?

- You also know.

So which would you prefer?

- Of course, the ones that work better and forever.

Nevertheless, in reality which do you choose to use the most?

- Ah!? Now . . . !

As part of a pleasure-seeking species I'd usually prefer whatever makes me feel good right away. 'Til the consequences come and run over me.

My Dearest, before I leave, here is my last word . . .  LOVE.

The equation for pleasure-seeking living is as follows:

- Feel good = good. Feel bad = bad.

Not:

- Know good = good. Know bad = bad.

You know, I know, we know right away what is truly good for us. Why though we know, and yet many times we won't choose to use what we know?!

- Isn't that a mystery?!

This is what we know after observing and experiencing life and its consequences:

1. Choose to do what immediately feels good.
2. Feel good.
3. Face the consequences.
5. Feel bad.
6. Forget the bad feelings.
7. Turn bad.
8. Making bad, good.
9. Making it a law, saying it's only human nature.
10. Self-destruction.

Well, there is the other way around and less confusing.

1. Choose what we know is truly good.
2. Do good.
3. Feel good.
4. Become good.
5. Share good.
6. Create more good.
7. Live happily ever after.

That's what really works.

Beautiful! Yup, LOVE makes everything beautiful!

Why don't we do it and then we can breathe out . . . easily!

Why don't we love more . . .
 . . . listen to the voice of our conscience . . .
. . . be meek . . .
. . . be patient . . .
. . . be generous . . .
. . . be forgiving . . .

Then you can really breathe out really good . . . and truly feel good.

Breath, please.

Yes, breath . . . Now, breathe . . . Breathe out now.

Good morning and God bless y'all now.
